Accordion books are so much fun to make and can be used in many ways. They can be used to display your artwork, created to tell a story, or used as a travel journal or mini sketchbook. They make fabulous little photo albums and are a great alternative to a greeting card.

During the workshop,

: We will discuss suitable papers that can be used and tools that can help create an accurate structure

: You will be shown how to make two different-sized books: a mini one and an A6 version, with front and back covers.

: Explore ways to decorate and join your books together, depending on the chosen length and what you would like to use them for.

You don’t need any book-making experience, and there is no stitching or binding involved

There will be oodles of papers, embellishments and techniques on hand to help you decorate your books, and I will also explain the advantages of decorating first, then folding and vice versa.
